Nature in Common: Building Bridges through Ecological Rationality
Philosophy & Vision In a fragmented world, nature remains our only common foundation. Nature in Common perceives ecological resilience not merely as environmental protection, but as a universal language that connects people across any political borders.
We define nature as a Common Ground. Where diplomatic channels run dry, new spaces for cooperation emerge through shared responsibility for our living environment. Ecological rationality – this is not a political option, but an elementary prerequisite for any future understanding. It is a pragmatic path back to a shared humanity.
About the Project Nature in Common was founded by Dr. Oxana Schmies. As a historian and expert in international relations, she combines years of experience in strategic political consulting with deep regional expertise regarding Russia.
The project merges scientific precision with the agility of independent research to introduce essential perspectives into the global discourse. Our goal is to reveal the invisible networks of responsibility that secure our common future – transcending crises and systemic boundaries.
Strategic Focus
Structural Analyses: Investigation of bottom-up processes and local self-organization under complex framework conditions.
Risk Monitoring: Identification of socio-ecological tipping points based on verified primary sources.
Knowledge Transfer: Contextualization of local adaptation strategies for global actors.
